By accessing or using ToddlerTales, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. ToddlerTales is a service for parents and caregivers to create stories for children — it is not intended for use by children directly.

2. Service Description

ToddlerTales is an AI-powered platform that generates personalized bedtime stories with optional audio narration. Stories are generated based on the parameters you provide (character names, themes, lesson goals, etc.).

AI-generated content may occasionally produce unexpected results. While we implement content safety guardrails, we recommend parents review stories before sharing them with children.

3. Accounts and Subscriptions

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

We offer free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) through our payment provider. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

4. Fair Use Policy

Unlimited plans are designed for reasonable personal and family use. We reserve the right to define and enforce fair use limits to ensure quality of service for all users.

Examples of usage that may exceed fair use include automated or scripted story generation, bulk generation for commercial purposes, or sharing account access with users outside your household.

If your usage significantly exceeds typical personal use patterns, we will contact you to discuss options, which may include a custom commercial plan tailored to your needs. We reserve the right to limit or suspend accounts that consistently exceed fair use limits after reasonable notice.

5. User Conduct

When using ToddlerTales, you agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to generate inappropriate, harmful, or offensive content.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Attempt to bypass content safety filters or fair use limits.
• Use the service to generate content for commercial redistribution without authorization.
• Share your account credentials with others or create multiple free accounts.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the story inputs you provide (character names, ideas, etc.). Stories generated by our AI are provided for your personal use.

The ToddlerTales brand, design, and technology are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform or its underlying technology.

7. Service Discontinuation

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue ToddlerTales (in whole or in part) at any time. In the event of a planned discontinuation:

• We will provide at least 30 days notice via email to all registered users.
• Users with active paid subscriptions will receive a proportional refund for the unused portion of their current billing period.
• Users will have the opportunity to download all their stories and audio files during the notice period.

We will make reasonable efforts to ensure you can preserve your content before the service is terminated.

8. Limitation of Liability

ToddlerTales is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will always meet your expectations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ToddlerTales and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claims related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in conduct that is harmful to other users or to ToddlerTales.

You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your stories and personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of ToddlerTales after the effective date of revised terms constitutes your acceptance of them.
